Mumbai: As the release of Dhurandhar draws near, excitement around the Ranveer Singh led spy action thriller is reaching its peak. Among the many actors creating buzz is veteran star Rakesh Bedi, who plays the role of Jameel in the action packed drama directed by Aditya Dhar.

Rakesh Bedi Says Dhurandhar 2 Is Coming in Summer 2026
Speaking exclusively to Zoom, Rakesh Bedi confirmed that Dhurandhar Part 2 is indeed happening. On the question of the sequel he replied that he also has heard the same on the part of the team and that the second part will come next year.
He revealed that only half of his work will be seen in the first film, while the other half of his character’s journey continues in the next installment. The actor added that the scenes he has shot for part two are even more interesting and engaging, hinting at a bigger arc for his character ahead.
Why Rakesh Bedi Said Yes to Dhurandhar
Rakesh Bedi said one of the biggest reasons he joined the project was Aditya Dhar, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster URI. Having worked with Dhar earlier, he praised the director for the immense respect and affection he shows him on set.
He also mentioned that after reading the script, he felt Dhurandhar offered him something new and refreshing, something he had not done in a long time. This uniqueness made the film even more exciting for him.
