Mumbai: After making her debut in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara earlier this year, actress Aneet Padda has quickly secured her next big project. According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Padda has officially joined Dinesh Vijan’s ambitious Horror-Comedy Universe and will be seen in the upcoming supernatural comedy Shakti Shalini.
The actress has already undergone a look test and a photo shoot for the film, signaling that the project is moving into its preparatory stages. Shakti Shalini is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025. While the director’s name has not yet been revealed, industry buzz suggests that Munjya director Aditya Sarpotdar and Tabbar creator Ajitpal Singh are strong contenders to helm the project.
This film is part of Maddock Films’ expanding Horror-Comedy Universe, which has already delivered hits like Stree and Munjya. Another highly anticipated installment, Chamunda, starring Alia Bhatt, is also in the pipeline and expected to begin production in May 2026 once the actress completes her prior commitments.
With Shakti Shalini, Aneet Padda is poised to solidify her place in Bollywood’s new wave of genre-blending cinema that mixes supernatural thrills with sharp comedy.
