Mumbai: Actor Ahaan Panday, who shot to overnight fame with his debut film Saiyaara, celebrated his 28th birthday on Tuesday, December 23, and the occasion turned extra special thanks to a deeply emotional tribute from his co-star and close friend Aneet Padda. Her emotional Instagram post did not only wish him a happy birthday, but it also gave the fans a rare glimpse into the person behind the rising star.

A little after midnight, Aneet took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos and videos featuring Ahaan. The post featured intimate behind the scenes shots, solo shots of Ahaan, childhood throwbacks, and intimate behind the scenes shots on the Saiyaara sets. Among the most emotional images was a photo of a little Ahaan with his deceased grandmother, as well as a video of him teasing a cat.
