Mumbai: The wedding countdown has officially begun for Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, and the excitement around their big day is only growing. The beloved couple who recently affirmed their relationship and their marriage arrangements are already in Udaipur and are going through a series of romantic pre-wedding ceremonies. According to a report by India Today, one of the most emotional moments of the wedding festivities will take place during the sangeet ceremony. Deverakonda Madhavi who is the mother of Vijay is preparing to introduce Rashmika to the family with a value gift. She will introduce her future daughter-in-law to traditional family heirloom bangles, which have a profound emotional meaning.
The gesture is said to symbolise acceptance, love, and the passing on of family legacy. Those close to the family also spilled the beans about how the bangles are sentimental and that they serve to signify the official integration of Rashmika into the Deverakonda family. This emotional tradition already attracted followers, who are already celebrating the simplicity and the warmth behind the great event.
Inside the private Udaipur celebrations
The wedding functions are being held at the luxurious ITC Mementos hotel in Udaipur, where close friends and family members have gathered for the intimate affair. The celebrations have been filled with a lot of joy and laughter since fun water volleyball games and an enjoyable cricket match up until the lavish welcome dinner with the Japanese cuisine.

The couple is all set to tie the knot in a private ceremony on February 26, 2026, with a limited guest list. To celebrate with their film industry friends and extended circle, a grand reception is planned in Hyderabad on March 4.
