Mumbai: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna continue to remain one of the most loved pairs in Tollywood. The pair has been leaving fans wondering ever since their hit movies Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade and their most discussed off-screen relationship. Even though they have never formally declared being in a relationship, the frequent sightings and the hints they give only fuel the hype.
Now, fresh reports suggest that the couple is all set to take the next big step in their journey. As per the several media reports, Vijay and Rashmika were engaged in an intimate ceremony on October 3, 2025, at Vijay house, Hyderabad, a day following Dasara, in the company of select friends and relatives. The actors remained silent but it was reported that the team of Vijay admitted to the engagement later when the news came out.
Vijay and Rashmika Turned Down Rs 60 Crore Netflix Offer
The latest update that has grabbed everyone’s attention is a massive offer reportedly made by Netflix. According to Telugu media portal Tupaki among others, the streaming giant offered the couple a mind-boggling proposal of streamlining their wedding with a whopping Rs 60 crore.
The deal would have allowed fans to witness their grand ceremony through a special feature. It was reportedly one of the largest OTT bids ever conducted in celebrity wedding videos. Vijay and Rashmika, however, turned down the offer and opted to keep their wedding moments confidential and private.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Vijay strongly feels that wedding memories are priceless and should not be turned into commercial content. The couple is also reported to be particularly careful following law and commercial hiccups that were reportedly experienced during the wedding of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan whose wedding documentary was subsequently streamed online.
Wedding Venue and Date Buzz
While there is no official confirmation yet, reports suggest that the couple plans to tie the knot on February 26, 2026. The wedding is reportedly being organised at a heritage palace property in Udaipur, known for its royal charm and privacy.
Earlier, a viral video had claimed that the wedding would take place on February 2 at a luxury venue in Udaipur. The video displayed splendid decorations, which made fans think that it had something to do with Vijay and Rashmika. Nothing however occurred on the day and the news that followed made it clear that the video was an assumption.
If the current buzz is true, the Udaipur wedding will be followed by a reception in Hyderabad. Rashmika, who is riding high on her recent successes, is also expected to take a short break after the ceremony before returning to full-time filming.
In the meantime, fans are waiting with a bated breath to see an official announcement. The mentioned date of February 26 and the rejection of the Rs 60 crore offer have so far served to make the already existing excitement involving one of the most popular couples in Tollywood.
