Mumbai: Prabhas fans finally have something big to celebrate as the much awaited first single from The Raja Saab, titled Rebel Saab, is out now. The song marks the superstar’s return to lively, colourful and high energy dance moves, giving fans a refreshing break from his recent intense roles. Released on Sunday, the lyrical video immediately created a festive wave among Prabhas admirers across the country.
Rebel Saab Grand Launch at Hyderabad’s Vimal Theatre
The makers unveiled Rebel Saab in a massive celebration at Vimal 70 MM Theatre in Hyderabad where thousands of fans gathered to witness Prabhas’ comeback to mass dance performances. It was a real-life festival, as people cheered, swinging flags and reenacting the choreography in front of the giant screen. The visuals of Prabhas in vibrant outfits made the fans even more energetic, turning the theatre into a mini celebration ground.
Composer Thaman S, who created the track, shared that Rebel Saab is a tribute to Prabhas and his powerful screen presence. The event was attended by director Maruthi, along with producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, Ishan Saksena and the film’s cinematographer, emphasising how special this release is for the team.
The single was going to be released at 6 pm, however due to a technical glitch, the fans had to wait until approximately 9 pm. The delay caused a bit of restlessness among the crowd who had been building up excitement for hours. Prabhas could not attend the event but director Maruthi and creative producer SKN reached the theatre after 8 pm to calm the fans and prepare them for the big reveal. Once the song finally played, the entire venue erupted in cheers.
A Multilingual Mass Treat
Rebel Saab has been released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada to reach Prabhas’ massive pan India fanbase.

About The Raja Saab
The Raja Saab is written and directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. Though officially announced in January 2024, the film actually began shooting in 2022. After facing several delays, the movie is now all set for a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2026, targeting the festive Sankranthi season. It is also likely to compete against several large Telugu and Tamil movies in the festival window.
