Mumbai: Dhurandhar is brewing up to be one of the largest film events of 2025. Already having fans waiting with bated breath, the release of new information on the length of the film has heightened the curiosity even further. According to insiders, it is not only a high-scale and drama film but also a lengthy one that makes the film an epic theatrical experience, which viewers completely immersed in.
The trailer of Dhurandhar was supposed to release on November 12 but was pushed forward due to sensitive circumstances last week. It will now be launched on November 18 and is expected to be unveiled in the presence of Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Aditya Dhar and the producers. With the buzz growing every day everyone is eager to know what the film will deliver.
According to a source Dhurandhar has turned out to be a lengthy film because of its vast storyline. The focus remains strongly on Ranveer Singh’s character and the intense journey he goes through. At the same time several other actors also have crucial parts and the narrative brings all of them together in an interconnected way. Director Aditya Dhar reportedly did not want to rush any emotion or action beat. His aim is to keep viewers fully engaged from start to finish.
As of now the film’s expected runtime is around 3 hours and 5 minutes. The final cut will be locked in the next ten days once Aditya Dhar Jio Studios and B62 Studios complete their final round of approvals. Whether the makers trim a few minutes or keep the full duration remains to be seen but the current length places Dhurandhar among the biggest films of recent times.
If the runtime stays at 185 minutes Dhurandhar will officially become the longest film of Ranveer Singh’s career. His previous longest film was Dil Dhadakne Do which ran for 2 hours and 51 minutes. After that came Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with a 2 hour 48 minute runtime followed closely by 83 and Padmaavat which both had a duration of 2 hours and 43 minutes. Meanwhile Kill Dil remains Ranveer’s shortest film at just 1 hour and 57 minutes.
The grand trailer launch on November 18 is expected to have the entire team present except Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna. With the film’s runtime revealing its ambitious scale the audience is now even more excited to see what Dhurandhar has in store.
