Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra has raised serious concern among the fans after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai . The 89-year-old actor was hospitalized with complaints of shortness of breath. As per several media reports dated November 10, 2025, his condition has been critical and the doctor has put him on ventilator support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to closely monitor him.
Dharmendra’s Health Update
According to sources, Dharmendra is now being taken under the care of senior cardiologist Dr. Dev Pahlajani of the South Mumbai hospital. Though the family of the actor has not released any statement yet, it is reported that he is still under constant medical care. Shortly after the news came out, Hema Malini was seen entering the Breach Candy Hospital.
Earlier this month Dharmendra was already hospitalized on November 1, with hospital staff confirming that he was experiencing breathlessness and later transferred him to the ICU.
Hema Malini was spotted at the airport on November 4, when she gave the paparazzi an assuring and appropriate okay sign, which suggested that the actor was in good health at that point. But his recent health slump has brought back anxieties among supporters.
Dharmendra’s Work Front
Dharmendra has remained active in the industry despite his minor health problems in recent years such as undergoing a cataract surgery earlier this year.The actor, who will turn 90 in December, is set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s war drama “Ikkis”, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The movie narrates the true story of the youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee in India, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Dharmendra will also star in the family-drama thriller “Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se” along with Arbaaz Khan.
