Mumbai: Netflix has officially announced the much-awaited sequel to the gripping crime thriller Raat Akeli Hai, titled Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders. The movie marks the reappearance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the sharp and ruthless Inspector Jatil Yadav, who is back to solve another maze of lies, fraud and cold-blooded murder.

The sequel promises to higher the stakes even higher, with Jatil Yadav diving deep into a chilling case that shakes a powerful family to its core. As he tracks the path of secret and dishonesty, the line between truth and consequence once again begins to blur.
The same director, Honey Trehan, and writer, Smita Singh, return to give the project the same kind of gritty storytelling that made the first instalment a fan favorite, Raat Akeli Hai. The movie is created by the RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures, two banners that is popular for delivering powerful content to the audience.
The sequel features an impressive ensemble cast of Chitrangada Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Deepti Naval, Ila Arun, Revathy, Akhilendra Mishra, Priyanka Setia, Sanjay Kapoor, and Radhika Apte, who reunites with Nawazuddin after the success of the first part.
