Mumbai: After the massive success of the Chandu Champion in 2024, the dynamic duo of Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan is all set, once again, to create another cinematic spectacle. Their first joint venture, which was also produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, not only took the critics by storm, but also a milestone in Kartik’s career, who proved to be much more than a romantic comedy. Currently, the two are preparing their second venture, a sports based action movie based on an incredible true story.
According to the reports, the film is set to be one of the most ambitious projects till date as it blends the elements of intense action, emotion and high drama. According to a source close to the development, told Bollywood Hungama, Kabir likes to go to the edge with each and every film and his next one is a thrilling, hard-hitting, action-filled, drama filled and emotional story. He believes Kartik is exactly the right person and they both seek to offer something new to the viewers in terms of cinematic experience.
The next one is said to be mounted on the mega budget of 150 crore, and it will be the most expensive film in the career of Kartik Aaryan. Kartik, with his huge fan base, appears to be eager to bring his stardom to the next level with this high octane collaboration. A official announcement of the film will likely come in early 2026.
As the hype surrounding his next film with Kabir Khan gains momentum, Kartik is already gearing up to another ambitious project, which is named as Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand. This film is about mythical creatures and a shape-shifting serpent, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the director of Fukrey, and is a genre that Kartik has never ventured into before. The actor is already said to have finished the poster shoot, and the main shooting is slated to start on November 1.
Kartik Aaryan’s Work Front
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has an impressive lineup. He will be seen opposite Ananya Panday in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, followed by a musical romantic movie directed by Anurag Basu with Sreeleela as his co-star. The actor is also set to work with renowned film-makers Shimit Amin and Vishnuvardhan, which further extends his filmography career. As he plans several high-budget projects and with many different genres under his belt, Kartik is indeed going through one of the most thrilling periods of his career.
