Mumbai: In a surprising crossover, the co-founder of Microsoft and philanthropist Bill Gates is fully prepared to appear as a guest on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, starring Smriti Irani. The reboot of the beloved TV classic, which aired earlier this year, has been making waves but this twist on the original has come as a surprise to the fans!

The makers of the show have just released a hint at the entry of a special guest from America. Smriti Irani, playing her famous character of Tulsi Virani, is seen opening her laptop to have a video meeting in the clip.

Even though the face of the guest was not disclosed in the teaser, several reports have confirmed that the mystery guest is none other but Bill Gates himself. The big news was also confirmed by Smriti Irani in an interview with CNBC-TV18 and said that it was a historic moment in Indian entertainment.

As sources close to the production reported, Tulsi will be approaching Bill Gates to consult him about her poor relationship with her daughter, Paridhi Virani. Gates, who will be presented as a video call, will supposedly provide life tips about balancing family and self-care, which is the moment when fiction and inspiration will be mixed.

The reboot has already made ripples due to its touching narrative and the references to the past.

The mini reunion was also recently seen when Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar returned to their characters as Parvati and Om in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii in the show. Their appearance brought Tulsi and Mihir back together, leading to a huge TRP spike and a resurgence of TV nostalgia of the early 2000s.

The show called the new season premieres on July 29, 2025, and is planned as a limited series of 150 episodes that runs on Star Plus. The show can also be streamed digitally by the viewers through JioHotstar.
