Mumbai: A growing social media controversy involving influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, and actors Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan has taken a dramatic turn. What started as a simple unfollowing each other on Instagram, now has turned into the open accusations, viral videos, and the emotional trauma claims, gaining both fans and netizens attention.
The issue first caught public attention when Orry unfollowed Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan on Instagram. Soon after, Orry issued a series of declarations that hinted that the rift would not be resolved until Amrita Singh, mother of Sara and Ibrahim, apologised to him. He asserted that she had traumatised him through her actions, although he did not present the details at first.
Influencer Claims Add a New Layer to the Controversy
The situation intensified after social media influencer SonikaTalkies shared a video claiming to reveal the alleged reason behind the fallout. According to her video, she claimed she was informed through her sources that Orry and Ibrahim Ali Khan had a personal relationship four years ago.. She further claimed that the relationship ended and that Ibrahim later moved on and began dating actor Palak Tiwari.
The influencer also alleged that Orry later encountered Ibrahim and Palak at a party, where an incident occurred involving an offensive remark directed at Orry. On the basis of these allegations, Orry requested Palak Tiwari to provide an apology, as well as reported the case to Sara Ali Khan. The video also made the claim that Orry had threatened that without an apology, he would publicly disclose personal information about Ibrahim.
It is important to note that none of these claims have been independently verified, and no official statements have been made by Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Palak Tiwari, or Amrita Singh regarding these allegations.
Why Amrita Singh’s Name Entered the Picture
According to the same influencer video, Amrita Singh allegedly intervened after becoming aware of the situation. According to the video, she established strict limits and ended the friendship between Ibrahim Ali Khan and Orry because she did not want to drag her family into more scandals. Following this, Orry reportedly began stating that Amrita Singh’s actions caused him emotional distress and trauma.
Adding fuel to the speculation, netizens noticed that Orry liked the Instagram reel in which these claims were made. This move has been largely construed as an indication that he is either supporting or accepting the version of events presented in the video, yet Orry has not made any official clarification or confirmation.

As of now, the controversy exists largely in the realm of social media claims and online speculation. No official confirmation of the so-called relationship and the alleged party incident, as well as the demands on an apology, have been confirmed.
