Mumbai: Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, is once again at the centre of Bollywood gossip. This time the focus is on his current conflict with actor Sara Ali Khan and her family including her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan and her mother Amrita Singh. The controversy has spilled across interviews and social media, keeping fans and industry watchers hooked.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the 30 year old influencer spoke candidly about the strained relationship and revealed that his public comments are rooted in personal experiences. Orry explained that they could be reconciled, but only when Amrita Singh apologises to him.
Why Orry unfollowed Sara and Ibrahim

In response to social media unfollow drama, Orry revealed that he unfollowed Sara Ali Khan some time ago and has not followed Ibrahim Ali Khan in many years. According to him, maintaining a friendly image online was no longer possible.
He explained that pretending to be friends with Sara would mean pretending to be okay with the trauma he claims was caused by her mother, Amrita Singh. Orry, though, did not go into greater detail about what kind of traumatic event this supposedly was. He said that the relationship cannot feel normal at this moment.
Condition for reconciliation
Despite the bitterness, Orry said the door to peace is not completely closed. He had openly said that in case Amrita Singh apologised, then he could forget about the past in the future. This, according to him, is the only path toward resolving the conflict with Sara and Ibrahim.
His statement has sparked widespread discussion online, with many debating whether an apology could actually bring an end to the public fallout.
Remarks on Sara Ali Khan’s career spark backlash

The tension escalated after Orry made a comment that quickly went viral. Referring to “Sara Ali Khan’s hits,” he took a dig at her acting career. Responding to the backlash, Orry clarified that he did not believe his comment was offensive.
He described it as a small joke and pointed out that the internet often makes fun of Sara’s films. He also says that people also make fun of him because he is jobless, and he does not mind. He said that the largest work of Sara, in the popular sense of this word, has frequently become memes, and he believed that something was being taken extremely ill.
Social media exchanges that fueled the fire
The controversy gained further traction after Sara and Ibrahim reportedly unfollowed Orry on Instagram. When a user questioned him about it, Orry replied that he had unfollowed them long ago and they had simply caught up now.
Things turned more heated when an Instagram user commented that “Amrita aunty is very angry.” Orry answered with a statement of throwing a glass of ice water on her head. It was viewed by many as the comment of dismissal and provoked criticism among the social media users.
Another incident involved a reel in which Orry mentioned “3 worst names.” Amrita, Sara and Palak were shown on screen, and it was not lost on many that the names alluded directly to Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan and actor Palak Tiwari. The post was subsequently removed following a major backlash.
While Orry has been vocal, Sara Ali Khan has not directly addressed the controversy. Fans, however, believe her recent Instagram story may have been an indirect response. She played the song, Naam Chale, by Vikram Sarkar whose lyrics discuss the freedom of life and avoidance of the superfluous drama. This subtle move has only added to the speculation.
A feud that continues to grab attention
Orry has also addressed claims that his statements were taken out of context. He argued that his statements were never intended to hurt anyone or cause a significant scandal. Nevertheless, his constant relationship with the Pataudi brothers is a burning issue in the entertainment sector.
As Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan prefer not to talk and Orry continues to insist on an apology, the industry has its eyes on them. Whether this public feud will ever see a resolution remains to be seen, but for now, it continues to dominate social media conversations and Bollywood headlines.
