Mumbai: Ahead of Salman Khan’s milestone 60th birthday, a throwback picture featuring the Bollywood superstar with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and AP Dhillon has taken the internet by surprise. The candid image was shared by Atul Agnihotri and instantly grabbed attention for capturing the trio in a rare, carefree moment away from the spotlight.
The shot was taken in the farm house of Salman Khan in Panvel, the outskirts of Mumbai where the three stars are covered with mud as a result of a wild all terrain vehicle ride. Instead of red carpets and stadiums, the photo provides the fans with a glimpse of real off-screen friendship between movie, cricket, and music stars.
A Muddy Moment That Fans Cannot Get Over
In the now viral photo, Salman Khan is seen standing on the right, MS Dhoni on the left and AP Dhillon in the centre. All three appear relaxed and smiling, their muddy clothes clearly a result of riding ATVs around the farmhouse grounds. The setting and their casual appearance highlight the informal nature of the gathering.

Atul Agnihotri, who shared the image on his official Instagram handle, posted it just days ahead of Salman’s birthday. Atul is a producer, director and a former actor who has been married to the sister of Salman Khan and is usually spotted enjoying some of the family time with the actor.

Fans flooded the comments section with heart and fire emojis. The fact that Salman Khan and MS Dhoni appear in a frame together excited many and they termed the image as legendary. The partnership between the three stars was also lauded by others, with remarks hailing their easy beauty despite avatars covered in mud.
A Rare Peek Into Salman Khan’s Off Screen World
The throwback photo stands out because it captures a side of Salman Khan that audiences rarely get to see. Away from film sets and public appearances, the picture just shows a low stress atmosphere where various personalities of various fields face off just to have some fun.
Moments like these resonate strongly with fans, as they humanise larger than life figures and showcase friendships beyond professional boundaries. Since then, the photo has been extensively spread on the social media platforms, contributing to the buzz surrounding the upcoming birthday celebrations of Salman Khan.
What Is Next for Salman Khan
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his much awaited film Battle of Galwan. The makers have not officially stated the release date, and this has kept the fans on their toes. Reportedly, the announcement can be made on the occasion of Salman 60th birthday which will be even more precious to his followers.
As per Bollywood Hungama, Salman had earlier considered releasing Battle of Galwan around Eid. However, since Dhurandhar 2 has already been locked for that date, the possibility of an Eid release now seems unlikely.
